The Google Earth virtual earth programme has made finding locations much easier and the Google Earth Pro is the enhanced version of GE which is very useful for commercial purposes. Both the versions of GE are packed with great features and helps the user find the exact location he or she wishes anywhere in the world. The 3 Dimensional, high resolution images of the earth in GE render the maximum accuracy of the location. The Google Earth version is free and can be downloaded from the official Google Earth website. With the Google Earth installed on the computer it just remains a matter of click in finding the desired location on the earth. The placemark feature in GE lets the user mark the location he or she in GE and can be shared with others who are using the GE. The moviemaking feature, the GIS, GPS data import facility in the application is just like a great boon for the professional users of the application.

Posted on July 6, 2007
The Google Earth application has changed the very way in which the world used to map the earth. Using the Google Earth application has eased out many tedious problems in cartography; the GE has made finding things simple. The whole world is available at the click of a button for the user. Google Earth uses satellites images which are high in resolution and are very graphic. The accuracy of the images is also very reliable in GE.
