Google’s Google Earth today is the cult web product and the application has transformed from a mere entertainment tool to a great educator of science and geography for students and children. The application now has become a great multitasking tool which is used in finding the user’s home to finding the great locations on the earth. Anyone who has to deal in locations and its characteristics stand to benefit from GE. The uses of GE in the travel business are immense and not only the traveler but also the travel agent can use the GE for their needs.

The traveler who wants travel to any location in the world and can first check it on his own pc at home and can look all around for the different sites that could visited when the traveler actually arrives at the location.

While traveling the user can also use the GE enabled mobiles which contain all the information about the particular location the traveler is traveling to and he can see if there are any restaurants, beaches, hotels, he can even find the nearest airport as well thus making his traveling really easy.

The GE 4 version is now packed with great features like the user can change the view from the top to a 3D image of the area, as height information is added in the new version; this feature is very useful for those travelers who want to go on a world tour. The stunning 3D high resolution images in GE lets the traveler explore the whole world without much difficulty. The images sometimes get blurred due to the cover of clouds and mountains but that is not the distracter from using the Google Earth for the purpose of traveling.
